Well it looks as if Gabe from Penny Arcade was recently p0wn3d by John Smedley of SOE for Gabes' recent commentary in thier comic strip on the lack of creativity he thinks is occuring at SOE.

This is good humor from the SOE guys and it sure makes me want to watch SOE in the near future to see if they can take to heart what Gabe was trying to say and possibly let the artists over at SOE have a little more creative control. As an artist myself, it is difficult to be creative when you are not allowed to think outside of the proverbial box.

I wonder if "Gabe" bother to check the contents of those 1,200 donuts before donating them to the Children's Hospital staff. Considering the punchline of the strip, I wouldn't be surprised if they were filled with the fecal matter of the sender because he's just might be full of that...

P.S.: Mr. T'Ditto, I think your l33t-sp3ak is a tad bit rusty. The proper spelling for that word is pwned or pwn3d.

Actually if this event shows anything, it shows that SOE and SmedThey. I just can't hold a grudge against them for my own weaknesses in continuing to play EQ for so long. I also think of the current generation of US MMO providers, they are probably best positioned to transition the market from a pay to play to a more free mentality with upgrades costing incremental cash. I do look forward to thier next game much more than the MS offering of Vanguard as that represents the style MMO I would never ever play again.
