This is an idea that is used so much in movies and games that it can be both a bane and a blessing. Some sequels are better than their original incarnations, but in many cases they tend to go downhill very quickly. Now we could digress into some of the worst sequels ever made or maybe go the route of greatest sequel, but instead I wanted to point to the article over at Voodoo Extreme that touches on the sequels that you would like to see. Now I know that many would like to see more original titles (but we all know how the market works) and this is an opportunity to touch on what games folks would like to see a sequel from. Without further ado, we have the list:
Now, the list is somewhat interesting and are all PC titles. I have played most of the predecessors for these games. They are all very good but would a sequel improve the series? I would like see what other titles folks would like to see as a sequel or what they think of the list.

Well out of the provided list "Fallout 3" would probably top the list for me, with "Tie Fighter 2," "Interstate 1976 Sequel" (this title needs Samuel L. Jackson and Snoop Dogg STAT!) and "No One Lives Forever 3" (This title needs Mike Meyers voice help STAT!) finishing off my list of those already provided.
Now for items not on the list I would love to see a sequel for:
Loom - Just a unique experience all together!
Deathtrack - Yes, a very old game, but imagine smashing something like Burnout with the IP from this ancient game. Maybe add in some of the Deathrace 2000 IP as well. (Carradine is still alive!) FUN!
Babylon 5 - With the hopes of a new series or movie, this has real potential for a "catch everyone back up to the universe" game. And I don't remember if the original game for this actually released or not.
Space 1999 - This game would be a new game though as I know of no game that ever used this IP.
Elite - Space trader game. This game never got a "proper" sequal. Many spin offs but I don't remember a true sequal.
OK, I think thats enough for now, brain hurts.

Is that Decent or Descent 4?
Is Descent is decent game after the first release?

I'm excited to see that there will be a BG3. I just hope it won't get cancelled like it's previous incarnation as I'd found out from googling it. During my googling, I see mentions of Neverwinter Night 2. Have you guys play it? Is it better than NWN1? Does it play just like KotOR? I was a bit disappointed (didn't finish it) with KotOR 2 because it played almost identically to the original KotOR.

I don't think any of these titles are actually being made, just that people would like to see it. I know I'd like to see a BG3 - but without the NWN engine - let's get to a better 3D enginer but more like the one that could control parties like the old BG one could.
