Two-player for the XBOX 360?

Have any of you found a good two-player game for the Xbox 360? By that I don't mean requiring both players to have a 360 and be networked, but I mean two players using joysticks locally on the same screen. I'd like to play something with my son sometimes, but I haven't found a game worth playing yet. Are there any out there?

I guess you've ruled out all sports games or are they too complicated for your son (I forget how old he is). Then, there's are the ever-present one-on-one fighting games though those are probably too gory for him.

I think you can play two people with Marvel Ultimate Alliance. He can pick whichever superhero he likes and punch out/throw/shoot the bad guys while you lead them through the maze. I played it solo and have enjoyed it immensely! There are some puzzle solving but the action can get repetitive moving from one end of a level to the other end.
